Every extra pair of hands helps us save more lives

As a non-profit, we rely on people like you to do what we do. We are looking for volunteers from all walks of life to help organise events, support rescue work, and assist with rehoming.

You do not need to be an expert. We value commitment, teamwork, and a caring attitude.

Volunteer Roles

Choose a role that fits your time and skills

Rescue & Transport

  • Rescuer – Help with on-the-ground rescue of stray and abandoned animals
  • Transporter – Drive animals to vet visits, fosters, or adoption events
  • Rehomer – Support the rehoming process and follow up with adopters

Events & Outreach

  • Event Organiser – Plan and coordinate adoption drives and fundraising events
  • Booth Attendee – Staff our booths at events and talk to the public
  • Brand Ambassador – Represent Purely Adoptions and spread the word

Media & Design

  • Photographer – Take photos of animals for adoption listings and events
  • Videographer – Film and edit short videos for social media
  • Designer – Create posters, graphics, and promotional materials
  • Social Media Assistant – Help manage our Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
  • Web Master – Help maintain and update our website

Coordination

  • Volunteer Manager – Coordinate volunteers and match them to tasks
